Something I really like in the FNaF series is how it’s established in multiple places of the lore that the animatronics who are possessed by dead kids would NOT want to harm or kill other kids but this isn’t the case for adults probably because of their adult killer. The FNaF Movie is (kind of) the only exception to this rule with them trying to make Abby into them with a springlock suit.

Isn't it part of the lore that the Animatronics have a link to criminal databases and facial recognition? Like they are kept on stage because their programming glitched and they consider Adults threats to the kids?

Well, they are children so I think good or bad. It’s true that it depends on perspective and their true understanding of their actions. Wouldnt they all be good guys they were kids tbf and they werent trying to kill the person they thought that they were an endo-skeleton and endo-skeletons without a suit werent aloud so they would take the people to put in a suit which in turn killed them but they werent trying to kill them just trying to follow the rules?
