You tell your employees how much appreciated they really are. Cashews are a very wonderful nut and everyone I know likes them. The work they do is very worthwhile. Thank you for showing us how you do this and how much work goes into it.

So glad to have seen this video....I never appreciated HOW MUCH WORK goes into each and every don't think I will just mindlessly grab a handful of nuts again....I will cherish each and every one !!!

It really makes you think, doesn't it? How many times have I absentmindedly shoveled a handful of cashews into my mouth without a thought on how long it took to produce them or how many man-hours were invested. America is pretty danged rich.

Peace Corps Volunteers work with cashew farmers and processors to build their capacity. Peace Corps is a grassroots development organization and we provide trainings rather than capital. Our role has been to introduce Ghanaians to processing so that one day when *they* have the capital, they can pursue processing in their own country rather than exporting to India or Vietnam.

I never realized how labor intensive it was to process cashews.

it is nice to know they are able to work, didn't know that the oil from a cashew was as irritating as poison ivy though, see ya learn sumpin new every day, I seen a comment on why they didn't have gloves, i'm thinking that any kind of glove used would probably get in the way and might hinder more than it would help. Either way it is good to see that there is now work for them closer to their homes, and doing something that the world needs, or really likes.

These workers are awesome and couragous for using their hands to do this job. Cashews can be really dangerous for hands. They are messing up fingers all over India right now. I wish that every cashew company would have machines instead of people doing that part of the job. God Bless you all.
