Officials have been missing a lot of high sticks lately I'm not even exaggerating and most result in blood being drawn.

How can officials always pick up a tap on the gloves automatic SLASHING or hooking but they miss blatant high sticks usually when they are looking at the play too. Fuckin embarrassing and shit needs to tighten up.

Maybe the linesman should start wearing red bands too. They're already allowed to call too many men on the ice so whats the difference

Just watched Kyle Okposo take a bad high stick last night against the Islanders. No call.

This was for sure a terrible missed call, but it went both ways in this game. Rantanen got cross checked from behind 3 feet away from the boards and went down very awkwardly. Could have easily been a serious injury and definitely a big missed call.

i still think if the refs missed a call they should review the play and make the right call. I know it goes against the flow of the game but these factors can determine the end result of a game

The Refs have been Bad this year. Employee the Best you can during the Playoffs, I’d hate to see a Non-Call or a stupid penalty cost any Team the game.

What is Karlsson so mad about? He had the puck, so pretty much all the refs and linesmens should of be looking right at him or in that area. A clear high stick to the face is really hard to miss when everyone should of been looking at that play. Maybe if he lost an eye, they would of called something. Those so called officials should all be suspended or fired for not doing their jobs.

Sadly the NHL uses refereeing to augment its perceived entertainment value instead of enforcing the rules. I mean what else is "game management"? This happens in just about every NHL game these days. The refs aren't even trying to call the game as they see it, they are trying to control the game as upper management wants it. Disgusting.

Quinn Hughes also got slashed in the face and it was a missed call but he didn’t throw his helmet on the ice lol. However other players did argue with the ref and we all chanted ref you suck lol
