Thank you. I'm not a fan of the sheer time commitment of Descent so being to keep up on the lore without going through that grind is always nice. Unfortunate to hear that Chicago is likely under Roamer/Black Tusk control.

From what I remember from the little bit of lore that was in the various betas for Heartland, there was meant to be some sort of seed vault in Silver Creek (North east corner of the map). That might be the "installation" they're referring to.

we may have lost Heartlands but it seems the main story they had originally planned for it is still very important for Division series as a whole due to what it is revealed here. The matter for now is how will they give use the story for what was planned for Heartland now since the game is gone but the events appeared to still happen and is very important to the bigger picture.

I was half paying attention until Agent Hoskins and Hearts on Fire was mentioned. Actually listened to that book a few weeks ago at my desk at work. Very good book.

What little of the story I could get off the closed beta, the planetarium was an important location and was guarded by the reapers. By the time the player shows up, the militia had been wiped out and only the roller rink staff and the one agent hunting down her old boss was left. It's too bad, cause I really liked the murder mystery part of the story.

I think with the sheer amount of assets heartland had I wouldn't be surprised if they reused heartland content for division 2 content, or if it's near chicago like I think, possibly division 3 content.

I'm Fucking nerding out with these comms. The only thing that could've made it better is if they were able to get Katie Sackhoff to reprise the role. Maybe one day...lol.

While wasn't terribly interested in Heartlands, I do hope they make use of some of the story to add on to what we already have. Maybe even use it as a way to bring in the cell from the Crossroads series.

Now, it seems, it's not a matter of *if* Heartland is assimilated into the broader IP any more...but just when and how. As gutted as many of us are about Heartland taking an axe, at least there's some condolence that it lives on even if just in comms (for now, hopefully only for now).

Really wish the NDAs would be lifted so we can speculate over Silver Creek activity openly - without fear of ramifications. Then again... Hmm...wait...

Last that was heard, they were on a complete warpath for some SHD tech gear.

Really hope they repurpose a part of the heartland map for a countdown or incursion mission.

Interesting how much setup and detail for future plotlines is coming out of Descent, even Heartland which obviously hadn't been cancelled when these were planned and recorded. Have to see if the next batch of comms has more information on the same topic or if it heads in another direction - because there has been some back and forth.
