Many Thanks, I did consider the X4 but opted for the X2 M35i.
I owned the M5 for a couple of months but found it cumbersome especially as i tend to only drive in London.
In my personal opinion having been through nearly every car under the sun I'm very happy with my X2 M35i & am not letting this one go!!

It’s 510bhp in the UK car and 503bhp in the America’s cars due to emissions.
Also, you said 0-60 in under 4.5, well they say 4.1 but they’ve been clocking 3.7-3.8
I know, I’ve had several M5’s and just stepped out of a 2 year old X5M into a brand new X3M comp. not as big as the X5M obviously but the engine is incredible!

It’s a shame that the ride quality is intolerable on UK roads ☹️and worrying that dealers will easily discount a new X4M by £10-15k so depreciation will be horrendous!

At the end of the video I saw you been bashed violently left right up down by the way the the suv drove. Seat belt really hooks the people on to their seats or else they would be swapping seats thanks to the violent throws by the suv while driving.

Not sure where are you getting your 0-60 numbers when you mentioned that this car does 0-60 under 4.5? . It does 0-60in 4 seconds based on BMW specs. Car and Drive hit 3.3-second zero-to-60-mph time when testing this car back Nov 2019.

Any thoughts on whether this BMW X4M competition is better or worse than the Porsche Macan Turbo. I'm yet to test drive either but will be buying one or the other early next year. I'm a die hard BMW lover, so will not be choosing a Mercedes or an Alfa. Age will not be an issue, so the price saving on buying a Macan is considerable it seems. Feedback would be valuable, thank you

The only BMWs that sound good are those propelled by the 50i Engines. The M850i for example sounds great, all the others are a mess in terms of sound.

There should not be M/AMG and SVR versions of SUV's, that should be for the cars alone, so's not to confuse people with certain expectations. They should create other sports version labels for them if they want to beef up there SUV's and in some people's eyes spoil them. SUVS are meant to be soft and comfy are they not, who ever spends £80, 000 on a car that rides hard as rough like Rory is stating.

503bhp from a 3.0L engine! Those poor components must be under some stress. Impressive though. Good review 👍 but what a dull colour for an M car 🚗
