If the doctor's probable twin brother (Cap. James Porter) found out, he would be very furious

Usually when I watch the videos, I see Captain Porter as a police officer, but I got to say, he played an awesome doctor here. And the moral of this story is don't be too quick to judge anyone no matter what because someday, you might need that person.

How profound and thought provoking was the question: "If I wasn't a doctor and I didn't save your son's life, would you still be apologizing." 😉

Wow, how many brothers does Captain Porter have? 😂

For those saying “He didn’t say anything racist” he literally said it was hard for him to believe he was a doctor because of his skin color.

Moral of the story is don't judge people on the color of their skin because you never know that you'll need that same person to not only save your life but the life of your loved ones

KUDOS to the Doctor for setting the racist officer straight on how to and how not to treat people no matter what color their skin may be.

I was in a somewhat similar situation. I work in an operating room and it’s no secret that some surgeons are difficult to work with. There was one cardiac surgeon who was particularly difficult to work with, he always had something nasty to say, hung up on me several times and I did nothing but talk bad about him all the time. And then I needed a serious heart study that is somewhat risky, and I was scared to death. I swallowed my pride and asked him for advice. When we had finished our conversation, I was wondering if I was talking to the same man I knew or if some entity had taken control of his body. He was so nice, so concerned, so caring that I didn’t recognize him. He hooked me up with the best doctor in the hospital to perform the procedure, gave me his cell phone number and said I could call him 24/7 if I needed him. He almost had me in tears, he was so nice.

My point is, be nice to everyone! You never know the kind of stress someone else is under, and you never know when you may need someone else’s help or advice. Things are so different now - I go out of my way to help him with his cases, and I actually think of him as a friend. He has stopped hanging up on me and we are no longer sarcastic with each other. While race had nothing to do with my experience (we’re both white), the basic underlying story is similar as are the results. You just never know when you might need someone else’s help, knowledge, and experience. If you’re dying, who cares what the skin color of your doctor is? The only thing you should care about is how good a doctor he is, and not if he’s black, brown, or any other color you’re not.

It really is sad that in the 21st century, we STILL have issues with race. 😢

Made me cry. Because the boy has more respect and common sense for the humanity of others in love. Be Blessed

MLK Jr. said: "I look to a day when people will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character" and he's right, that police officer made the biggest mistake of his life, the doctor didn't accept his apologies for the cop's actions despite the fact that he saved his son, he should be fired or resigned

BRAVO!!! So very true. The color of your skin does not matter as long as they are getting what they want and need. But just to be considered and treated on a daily basis as a human being is just to much to ask for or expect . To bad this world will never recognize this until it’s to late for us all

That officer never learns his lesson. Good for the doctor putting him in his place. Honestly I would of called the police captain about that officers actions. Honestly I would of get dash cam to have evidence.

The cop should have taken back his ticket after he saw his son in his care at the hospital.
