We need LG and Nvidia to bring back '3D Vision" technology back to us in the future. It just doesn't make sense why they stopped making 3D TVs and 3D games.

i remember when i was younger my first time watching spider-verse was in 3D, and i was blown away. every time i've watched it since i've wanted a 3d TV so i could relive that... hopefully the sequels releasing this year and the next release with 3D blu-ray, this is one of the few movies that seriously was made with 3D in mind imo

Yes!!!! I have had a 3D 4K HDR OLED form that era, and they are phenomenal. The full resolution of the bluray is great, and the fact that it supports HDR helps as well. Even though 3D blu-rays are not HDR, the extra brightness capability helps compensate for the polarizers in the passive glasses. Thanks for posting this! One question: are you able to play the new PC games in stereo and HDR at the same time? I've never tried that.

I get brutal reactions when I use my 3d tv on my friends. Their jaw just drop to the floor when they watch it on 3d. They all unanimously agree. ....3d in 4k is jaw dropping. Better than 4k.

For the record the LG "G" series was the "top of the line" back in 2016 when they stopped making 3D TV's. The LG OLED "G" series came in 55", 65" and 77" sizes. I own an OLED65G6P and and OLED77G6P. Both are very hard to find, I lucked out on both of them. Actually, yesterday I bought an OLED55E6P locally with pretty low usage hours. The picture quality of the "E" and "G" series is identical and match the best pictures of current OLED's, even now in 2024. I also own a 98" TCL 98R754, which matches the LG OLED's picture quality but, of course, you don't get 3D on anything past 2016. Lastly, I've watched many YouTube videos of people bashing 3D TV's. Well, in my opinion, LG perfected, P-E-R-F-E-C-T-E-D their 3D TV's back in 2016. I still prefer to watch an HD movie in 3D instead of 2D in 4K HDR, it is absolutely more impressive in 3D HD than in 4K with HDR.

I have an E6 65 inch with 11000+ hours and no burn in. By the time I purchased, I had heard about the burn in issues already and decided to take a chance anyway. I was proactive about burn in from the time I got it in 2017. I have done the clear panel noise twice since buying it and that has been it for two minor image issues that occurred with the quick menu on the bottom. Turned off and on prior but there was still a slight image (which you should try first before clearing panel noise. I tend to only watch it at night and if I know I'm going to fall asleep to a show or whatever, I set a timer for 1.5 hours as well as my receiver. I am still amazed at the colors and deep blacks. The only thing I think I have ever had issues with fast movement in movies sometimes has this weird ghosting, but its a small price to pay for the last OLED with true 3D and both component and composite inputs. I do remember paying 2600 dollars and feeling like this would be my last TV. It may not be and I will be looking at a new 70 inch for the bedroom at some point, but I may wait for MicroLED and see how that plays out. Thanks for pointing out the Dual Play feature. I had 0 idea what that was. I am definitely keeping the LG E6 as long as it looks as good as it does.

I have the 55" E6. It has very few hours because i don't use it very much. It is big enough for my room so i have no plan on selling it. My brother's 65" version had burn in but i don't think mine has any. It still has a great picture. I think the newer OLED's have design features to help prevent burn in. You sure got a steal on yours. I just checked my tv and it only has 536 hours. It is a lot less then i thought.

I have this TV and love it. I have a burn in but it’s hardly noticeable while watching most movies. Really hope LG will release an updated one someday!!

We got it when it came out and it is still great - no burn-in for us. 😀

start running some fans on the back and front screen. This helps cool down the panel and helps prevent burn-in.
I've got two 55" E6, 55" C6, 65 G6, and the unicorn of all 3D TV's the 77" G6.
The yellowing is definitely the biggest color issue with this OLED IPS Panel.
Nice video.

I am assuming with a 3D projector I can use the unreal engine 4 fix to play games in 3D without relying on nvidia 3D vision?

Also. For those who love 3d like me.

There are 2 types of 3d effects.

The pop up towards you effect. And the 3d pop inward effect.

95% of the people know only the 3d pop up towards the viewer.
But . 95% of the people have no idea of the 3d effect that is inward.
The inward effect has some But is no that strong like the real pop up effect.
The inward effect has both effects in equal levels.

And that effect is like being your self looking outside by a window.

Also. If you ever saw 3D using the view master toy of the 60s.

The inward effect is 100% like the view master toy of the 60s.

Get a view master toy with a couple discs for 20 dollars in ebay.

Once you see the image on the viwmaster is 100% me say it again. You will see exactly like that view master toy on a TV that has that inward 3d effect.

MAGNIFICENT !!!

4K IN FULL 3D HDR INWARD GLORY.

Thank you so much for making this. Please consider the following as well. Another fix for 3d gaming would be hdmis new support for true 120hz input signal. This means 60hz per eye which helps with headaches.

I really wish LG would get back intl the 3d market with their passive technology so that I could game in 3d without a headset because I want to move using my keyboard and mouse and be able to look away from the screen.
