For me the actual stress of going through the process of bankruptcy is too distressing. I have a sister who filed bankruptcy so I have first-hand view of it. I'll just do the old fashioned way of paying down my debt. I know some people complain that the credit card industry has already taken advantage and made lots of money but that's not the way my personal thinking is. Might take me a little longer but I think I will feel better about my responsibility when I'm debt free. Bankruptcy has its place but I really do believe it's a personal decision.
