The reason he is losing is because of how he is training, Malik has him dancing around because he thinks he has footwork like Fred Astaire, when he moves more like Fred Flintstone, he needs heavy bag work and sparring.
Fighters like Shavers and Foreman knew their main strength was punch power and trained accordingly, no dance moves involved.

Actually I think most fighters utilize their personal problems and issues they have with women to motivate them. I think new media allows some fighters to use their personal problems as excuses. It’s their profession and as you said they risk their life’s in that ring for the whole world to see.
Let’s keep it real, the problem is Wilder has a bunch of “yes men” on his team. If a fighters handlers and trainers don’t sound any alarms and allows their fighter to get into the ring with another trained fighter, they should be brought up on charges. But ultimately it’s the fighters responsibility to surround himself with good people and the best team he can find.
