The refill has 3 contacts at the bottom. This means that it has a HP chip, so you cannot buy toner from another brand....beware !

We put the toner cartridge in as shown, but the outside indicator did not change to reflect the refill. As a result, it printed for a couple weeks and now refuses to base on +2 low toner 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️
