How to delete a horizontal line in a Word document

Trying to delete a horizontal line in Word can be so frustrating. You try to delete it or even select it and it just will not go away.
The reason is – it’s not a line, it is a paragraph border.

Also, my issue was in Google Docs and the formatting tools were in different locations, but your video was all I needed to understand enough to look at the Format tab. For those using Google Docs you will find this at: Format>Paragraph Styles>Borders and Shading.
