Thousands of Tunisian protesters oppose ‘coup’

Thousands of people gathered in Tunis on Sunday under heavy police presence to protest against Tunisian President Kais Saied, two months after he seized power in what critics have called a constitutional coup.

Last week, Saied brushed aside much of the 2014 constitution, giving himself the power to rule by decree.

Saied is the best option Tunisians have at the moment, the alternative is way worse!
