i put the gopro pad with the tape on the front tank cover, works beautifull and gives a better view

Be careful with your video capture solutions that are hard mounted to the bike. Any events on the road (your fault or not) can be taken as evidence in most places. I would only mount a camera to your gear (Helmet/Backpack) as it's part of your person and subject to S&S statutes.
