Killer Instinct Arcade Rooftop Glitch | G-G-G-Game Breaker!

This glitch breaks the arcade version of Killer Instinct. Here’s how to do it!

Hello, great video! I remember crashing the arcade cabinet at the time by making a combo that would break. With Sabrewulf (but it's work with all characters) you need to have the owl activated (or made a combo breaker before) hit the opponent with one light puch then roll and make the long combo. Because of the first hit the game stop the combo before the finisher because it's not "valid". The exception came with the ultra combo finisher, it's overwrite the rule and won't stop, but the opponent is now in a weird state. That make the opponent get hit but the position is not right. You will finish with a super high jump with ChiefThunder for exemple. It's can be reproduce in some way on the snes version but you need to perform some kind of shadow move: Hold the punch or kick then make the back forward move then release the action button. In Arcade that is display by a duplicate shadow move in snes it's just a faster move. Combined together theses methods give another flavour to the ultra combo :^)

Heyyy nice video! ;) As a mischievous teen, I would perform this glitch any time I encountered a KI Arcade machine. I remember this one time we went to see a movie and I did it in the arcade right next door, just before the movie. After the movie, I walked by to see if it was still stuck like this, and it was. I liked to think I was robbing the operators of some income. :P

I actually sent this in as a tip/tick to GamePro magazine. Back then, the internet was young and barely anyone knew about it. It did not get published, though.

good thing this on Xbox One. Xbox one has the pre patch version of Killer Instinct Classic.

There used to be another glitch. When you knock the opponent off the roof top with TJ combo, hold down on the joysticks and the player start buttons for both players.It was another infinite loop on rooftop stages. Now... I can't tell you what version of the game it was from. I just remember doing it at the local arcade so I can start all over showing the attendant that the game messed up. I'd play for hours on 50c.

Still curious why this was never fixed by Rare. But you did use a cheat - so if this happened on regular mode. I can see why the bug was missed!
