Cracking job pal, considering the bad access you did really well.
For anyone doing this DIY, you can smooth the joints over with a cut off piece of hose pipe...it helps for water drain off.
@Pureseals products are amazing !

You could buy a wolf garten brush and handle. You can buy different wolf garten brush heads as well. There all quick release. I think wolf garten patio brush head would have been suitable for agitating the hypo into the black spots on the patio. There made in Germany.

Just found your channel after looking for patio cleaning tips. I've got an Indian sandstone patio with plenty of black spots and it needs the joints repointing also. If I can get mine to look as good as the one you've done then I'll be very happy.

I actually removed 11 of my 50 year old patio stones ( 24" x 30" and 80 lbs each ) that were worn down and flipped them upside down, cleaned them up, and turned them into a walkway farther back in my back yard. Even though they look 'old style' and a bit worn on the bottom, they still look pretty good and will be painting them soon.

The dipped pointing looked nice but isn't it better to leave it level to stop rain settling in it and, in winter it freezing and causing it to come up?

Very informative. Thanks. Does the Sika help to stop the weeds?

amazing job...this is exactly what i want to do with my patio. im in the middle of jet washing it down now so need to get some of that stuff to repoint it with. Does it take long to dry once you have brushed it all in??

What a transformation. Great job.
When did you wash off the jointing compound excess from the slabs?

Excellent video! Do you have to remove ALL of the old grout or can you 'go over' some of it and sort of top it up?? I think I will have to use cement and sand as the gaps between my slabs are about 20mm. Thanks!

Really helpful video, nicely explained all the steps! Wondering how you find the Sika product holds up over tome for the pointing? Heard mixed things vs a nornal sand-cement mix so interested in your views

Great job. I'm hoping to clear out my joints and redo the grout. Think that is the colour of the Sika grout I need. What colour is that please

How long would you wait before jet washing the patio again? Would that jointing compound compact and not wash off?

Great transformation. How do you get the excess jointing compound off?

I was too old with a bad back to do mine so I employed a local guy to remove my old mortar and replace it, he used Sica and told me he was going to depth of 20mm. Charged me £800 and 12 months later weeds were pushing through - took a look at why and found out he'd only put it in to 10-12mm. I wasnt impressed.
