Never buy a home so close to the ocean unless you're rich enough to lose it.

Something about not building houses on shifting sands comes to mind.

It's almost as if building heavy buildings on a swamp to cash in was a bad idea. 🤔

The reason though buildings are sinking is because the water table in that area is rising, No it is not normal and it will get worse. By the way, when they tell you there's no reason to worry. That's when you run or become part of the news

How is this new news ? They've been saying this was going to happen for the last 10 years

"...and do researchers know why this is happening..." Look I'm no researcher, just smarter than the average Floridian, but I'd guess putting 250, 000 tons of concrete and metal on top of sand and water might just have that outcome.

@1:33 Those other cities don't have the same amount of people living there as Florida does. All those people, and big buildings, will weigh down the land.

Places like Florida have common occurrences of "sinkholes" which mean the land is soft, and those buildings are sinking at a fast rate. I would be scared to live there cause at any moment the weight of those big buildings can create a sinkhole

Sounds like it is perfectly normal, not more than one half inch a year. Big deal! How alarmist is this. 😂
