I thought Barber myself. Awesome concept. Nahre is a proper boss of composition

Some of those suspensions recall the somber pathos of Barber’s Adagio for Strings.

Crazy, it really has a Mahler flavour! The strings didn't sound that bad. 😊

I hope for a video where she tries the arabic/turkish/iranian styles of composition, with the microtones, maqams and tetrachords! That could be superinteresting as they have a whole different system of classical music. Also some great composers do make the bridge like Fazil Say for example.

Nahre, please complete this and record it!! It's brilliant. I'd like to hear the whole thing.

It's awesome how a composer can sound different if we see his compositions in a different way, in a different tempo or with another timbre. I would never say this was by Chopin 😮

André Gagnon (1936-2020) had a similar esthetic for his neo-classical compositions and his success as a pop artist/TV composer ("Saint-Laurent"---a rhapsody for the St-Lawrence Seaway; "Neiges"---snow). And congrats on your exploration of synths. Bob James did a wonderful _Rameau_ album using synths. For using a synth with two amps, That Pedal Show (Dan & Mick two fun guitarists) explain how to use a splitter and avoid ground loops on their YouTube channel, for a hassle free amplification of a source for live performance.

By no-one? Liar. It's by you, Nahre. That's a trick in a book that goes back some 3, 000 years. Homer's Iliad. When Odysseus tells the Cyclops that his name is "Oudemon" (nobody) and later, when Odysseus has robbed the Cyclops from his single eye and the other Cyclops ask him, "who did this?" He answered "nobody did it".

My first thought was Mahler, so you did a great job!

Nahre, how do you record the 'pov' shots with both of your hands on the piano?? I'm super curious about your setup 😁

You just exposed Barber's secret recipe.

Your music called to my mind Samuel Barber?

I wear glasses - and don't always see the prior posts - OBVIOUSLY - as MOST thought of Barber also.

I was also going to say Barber - wonder if it’s just the strings though…
