iPad [BiasFX] vs Pedal Board into a 44 Magnum & Two Rock 1x12

Thinking of replacing my amp and pedals with an iPad, BiasFX and 44 Magnum for live/rehearsals. BiasFX needs some tweaking (especially the mids) but it is soooo close to good enough.

Guitar is a Yamaha Image Standard with Mick Brierley pickups. Recorded with an SM57 into a 2i2 and then to Reaper - no post except volume.

Man, awesome setup! Bias FX sounded damn good via the poweramp and cab.

The Pod HD 500x lets you switch from studio mode to power amp mode (which sounds so much better with a magnum 44.) I wonder if Bias Fx on iOS does the same thing. I'm about to get an ipad mini and experiment.

They both sounded nice, but I liked the pedals more - sounded like there was a bit more air
