When you mentioned that perfume does not cling to you, it reminded me of something a perfume expert told me once - they said that a good perfume that works for you will not be easy for you to smell on yourself. It will blend in and that is a good thing. Perfumes that don't work with your natural chemistry will be very noticable and just not settle in on your body. Understandibly, some perfumes are not as strong and do fade more quickly. You will also get "nose blind" to the perfumes you wear after while, so you won't smell it but others around you will. So maybe one of the above factors could be what you're experiencing... I enjoy watching your content and love your new hair transformation :)
