It seems unfortunate that voters rejected both Proposition A & B. Both props dealt with either council supermajority & voter approval or with a public vote for 'exceedingly' expensive future proposals.
Prop B was very close. (46y/54n)
Prop A has had a lawsuit since August that claims the language swayed voters against the prop.


We really need an educated and inform public. That's the only way to have a handle on these outrageous failings of democracy. Without Prop A, as I understand it, the government can continue to sell, transfer, or lease city land and grants for permits without oversight or approval.
