This error solution is common for windows 7,windows 8,windows 8.1,windows 10 also.

Solution:

1.Goto your control panel and click to open "Windows Firewall" settings.

2.Click "Change notification settings" option.

3.Now choose "Turn off Windows Firewall(not recommended) option.

4.Finally again try to access your softwares the problem is solved.

completely disabling windows firewall is a security risk isn't it? couldn't you just look up what ports kodi uses and specifically allow those using port forwarding?
