Rohu, Baam & Tawa Fish | Haji Sardar Machli In Lahore

Haji Sardar Machli Farosh is located in Allama Iqbal Town, near moon market Lahore. They have been selling fish for generations and have several branches in Lahore with their oldest branch in Gawalmandi. Their menu includes baam fish, finger fish, rohu fish and spicy tawa fish. Sardar Machli was the first one to introduce baam fish in Pakistan. Their baan fish is quite popular. Finger fish is mostly ordered for children as it is boneless and easier to eat. Rohu fish is found in rivers whereas baam is found in sea. Both are high quality fishes which are marinated in spices for 12 hours. The fish is then coated with flour before frying it to perfection.
