I have another account I subbed to Kendo Guide channel 11 years ago.
I fell out of practise and 5 kids and 10 years later happy to see new content and getting started again.
I am a brown 1 from another style(almost black belt) and for various reasons am now studying through his channel again with my kiddos in tow lol

Thanks for the video, Hiro Sensei is a great sensei, I depend on his videos and teaching when I was a beginner, because my older sensei (6 & 7 dan Japanese) is kind of the old fashion - show and you follow, I also get wack on my legs and hand too.. we do have younger sensei (5 & 6 dan local) they will explain after class. So along side, I will watch Hiro Sensei's video and ask questions to improve myself.. He is wonderful and down to earth sensei.. do watch his videos, very useful and helpful.. Yes enjoy Kendo and take care.. ^_^

I don't get the McDojo argument. If all kendo sensei teach for free the students will prefer to go to a payed school with a fake teacher?
