There are so many world football legends that ended their careers with low-profile clubs. The familiar one for our country was Cameroon's Roger Milla. After the 1994 World Cup, he played for two Indonesian clubs (Pelita Jaya and Putra Samarinda) and scored 41 goals combined in 35 games he played. Previously, Pelita Jaya had former Argentina legend who won the 1978 World Cup, Mario Kempes.
In 2017, former Chelsea and Ghana midfielder Michael Essien was also played his last career in Indonesia with Persib Bandung.
