The Colour Changing Deck is a very popular plot that has been around for years and years. In this video Crag performs and talks about three of his three favourite routines. These are older routines so you might not have seen them before.

It never was a very popular color changing deck routine, but “Double Take” by Paul Richards/ Elmwood Magic is my absolute favorite CCD routine. I loved Elmwood, it’s a shame it shut down years ago. Very simple routine but super easy to do. (Frustration count, DL, cut to thick card.) Red back deck shown, magician goes through deck face up and spectator touches 3 cards. They are shown to have red backs again. Magician snaps fingers and one by one cards turn into blue backed cards.3 blue backed cards are put on top of red backed deck. Magician says “ what am I to do with 3 blue back cards in a sea of a red backed deck? Turns deck face up, gives a snap again, deck turns blue. Magician then goes to put cards back in the card box but the box is red, so one more snap of the finger and deck turns red again. Put in box and laymen are blown away. Everyone I have done this to their jaws drop every time there’s a color change. Magicians will know what’s going on but laymen will not. Trust me, they won’t. The ones you did were great! But the one you came up with was stunning. Really incredible

Great video! I used to do Bannons Strangers Gallery, but lost the special set of odd backed cards i got from Gary Plants. All of the color change effects are good, but I really like your Sandwich Color Stunner!

I do the routine that Spidey taught on his channel. You show you can cheat at cards, cut to any ace. Accidentally cut to a 7. Change the aces to 7’s the deck was mixed face up to face down. All cards are face up apart from the 4 aces. Show you can have marked cards by saying the 7’s and aces are red then show the rest of the deck is blue
