Thanks for not over laying this video with music and letting us hear the volcanic eruptions.

I will absolutely NEVER get tired of seeing these. That shockwave is incredibly powerful, and you can literally see it warping the atmosphere around the blast. It just shoves the atmosphere like, BAM!!

I have always been fascinated by volcanos. If it wasn't for volcanos there would be no land on Earth; it would still be a ocean world. Watching this I get the urge to stick my finger down the vent, push my arm down and, far below the surface, take a handful of the Earth's living heart. Thank you so much for this astounding and gorgeous footage with no music!

Your pronunciation of 'Eyjafjallajökull' was actually quite reasonable. The 'eyjafjalla-' part was spot on

i find it absolutely amazing that the sheer energy being expelled from these volcanos
make their own lightening...

i would love to travel to one an watch it erupt an film it....
amazing.. 😳😲😳😲😳😲😳

on a personal note..
love the way you let the clip play without music or talking after you set it up...
very professional like and makes the clip exponentially interesting ...
thx for your effort 😎👍

I've always been fascinated by how the ash clouds of volcanos burst up and then just hang there, folding and rolling in on themselves. I should probably look up the properties of ash clouds, but I'm still just amazed at how they don't just instantly spread out onto everything in sight and block our view. I don't know why I expect to see a wider cloud dispersal, but I always do. Seeing the ash clouds form a pillar rather than fall onto the ground and then spread is always awesome to me.

Underworld do you have any video of how Krakatoa looks like now after the collapse or footage of the damage which the Tsunami caused ?

really great video! it’s amazing how you captured these incredible volcanic eruptions. i do wonder though if we sometimes romanticize such powerful natural events. while they’re fascinating to watch, the destruction they cause can be devastating for communities. what do you all think?

Outside of truly explosive eruptions, what amazes me most is how quiet some of the eruptions are.

I can't remember it if was our flight to Europe or the return flight, but they had to change course due to the Icelandic volcano being active at the time.

Nice goin'! Great video! Spectacular info and video of eruptions. Volcanoes are so powerful. They are are a force of nature that man has had to deal with since we climbed out of the trees and have taken millions of lives in the 200 thousand years of modern humankind.

The sad truth: krakatoa was not caught on video.

Can someone explain how the lightning is created in amongst the ash and whatnot?

Etna looks like a shield volcano more rather then a stratovolcano

Anyone else see the lighting in the ash cloud at @7:49?
