Are you ready for a quick peek at leno? Leno is a hand-manipulated weaving pattern that creates decorative gaps in your fabric. And while it isn't technically "lace", it will give you a lacy effect.

Episode 96 just skims the surface of the fascinating world of leno. It'll set you up for success as you explore all the twisty things you can do with this lace pattern. Enjoy!

That's cool. I've not seen that before. I want more! Well, I guess I'm going down a rabbit hole on this type of project. As a new weaver, I'll be watching many more of your videos.

Awesome! Leno is loads of fun. I like to offset each row so the warp threads follow a serpentine path. I bet mine will look better now with a floating selvage...I had not thought of that. Great tip! cheers!

Pickup stick stuff! I was gonna try this this with a doubleweave project out of Jennifer Moore's book! This definitely helped me visualize the whole process, and I'm glad its less complicated than my brain made it 😅

Love your videos. Have learned a lot. In terms of aesthetics is twill as practical as plain weave? Or you would recommend sticking to plain weave

Hi! Thought you might want to know this and I’m not trying to be rude. The opening add was offensive and a bra add. Do you have any control over the ads?
