here is more to the story of Daniel. Basically there was this king where Daniel lived named nebuchadnezzar (i think i spelt it right) who did not believe in the word of god and he wanted people to follow his way and worship him so he build a big golden statue in the town and if anyone did not bow down to it and praise it they would be thrown into the lions den or put in a furnace to burn alive and Daniel never worshipped the statue because the only thing her ever worshipped was god and he was always obedient to god and Nebuchadnezzar threw him into the lions den and the lions did nothing because he praised god and was obedient to god there is way more to the story but thats all i will tell.
