The Pirelli Angel GT II Tires take one of the most popular tires on the road, and improve them with an updated compound and new tread for better durability and performance. Ideal for sport riders who are looking to get the utmost in the combination of performance and longevity, the Angel GT II tires are tubeless, feature a 2-ply carcass, and come with a tread pattern geared for improved wet grip.

This is not a review, but a preview.

I have these guys on my 2013 CB500x and put over 2000 miles on it. They still look great and they are extremely confidence inspiring. I like the groove in the middle, helps with rain, which is great as I live in the PNW. No problems leaning the bike over, it just feels rock solid.

I have been riding with Angel ST and GTs since they came out. I have never had them surrender grip on the road, even when riding hard. I’ve also taken these to the track on my Aprilia and wore them to the edge in the “fast group” on a non-sport bike track day and they were fantastic.Under very hard braking and acceleration, they were great! I’ve also taken these on dirt roads and gravel with never a problem (I’d never take them into mud.)

I am running the Angel GT 2 on my Gen 1 Hayabusa just did the scrub ride today. I had Angel GTs on for 2 seasons and loved them better than the Pilot 3. The I let myself get talked into Bridgeton Battle Axe tires and shredded them down to the chords in a season and a half (I live in the Okanagan Valley in British Columbia Canada) a season here is about six months. We have fantastic twisty mountain roads aplenty. I don't think I will run anything else anymore. You know what they say, never ride faster than you Angels can fly.

I replaced the Scorpion Trails on my Multistrada with these, and these are much better. I can already tell they're going to last for probably twice the mileage, and grip is still very good. I'd recommend them.

172 comments and not one review GETS TO THE POINT!! I bought these tires and had them mounted for my ZX-10RR at 36, 398 miles. Currently at 38, 583. That is 2, 185 miles use, thus far. The crown is gently squared off. I will not speculate how much more mileage I think I will get. I will EDIT this comment when they are worn and replaced. For all others commenting, please, get to the point and state the mileage you actually got out of these specific tires. Saying "two seasons" or "I didn't note the mileage when mounted" is about the dumbest review possible.

I've run Pirelli ST and GT tires for many years almost exclusively. Rain or sun the tires have always inspired confidence. I've taken Angel GT's to the track on my Aprilia and they performed fantastically! Pushed hard on the street they are great. You must keep these (as with any tire) well inflated as the front will scallop quickly if you ride with lower pressure. And once you hit the wear bar on the rear tire you only have 100+ miles before you will be showing the wires.

I just got these on my fz8. Not cheap. Feel good so far, though.

I've finished my road 5 tire and are waiting for the gt2 to come. Can't wait 😬✌️
So far, the road 5 has been an excelent all day all weather tire for me 😬

I have GT II's 10k km now. I love them. Surefooted is the word. Even after 10k on my Blackbird. Didn't use the A spec tyre cause the bird is not that heavy though. Temperatures here in Greece are quite high and rain is something a bit rare. Nevertheless i come from M5 's and the difference is huge! They are pricey though but worth every penny!

All tires feel great when new (as long as you have the right size for your bike and you give the tire what it wants as far as pressures go). 1/2 of why they feel so much better is usually you are replacing a profile that is altered, a carcass that is starting to break down. If you go long enough on those dual compound tires, sometimes you wear through the other compound and the wear pattern starts to accelerate or sometimes is slows down. Someone give us a 5000 mile report.

I have been an Angel GT fan and used them on 2 different motorcycles. I just replace a set of Pirelli Scorpion Trail II tires on my Ducati 1260 S Multistrada with Angel GT II. I was looking forward to these new tires. I got on a grooved interstate highway and my Ducati started to wobble which is totally uncharacteristic for this motorcycle. I figured it was just because they were new. I later got into some wind and the motorcycle also began to wobble. Until I switched tires the MS never ever experienced any slight wobble. 400 mi later I encountered grooved pavement again and the wobble returned. These tires should be discontinued. I have considered Michelin Road 5, but the Scorpions handled so well in the curves, on gravel and in the rain. I understand the Road 5 will not have the stability on gravel roads. I infrequently ride gravel roads, but when I do I want stability. I got 7000 mi out the the Scorpion Trail II rear tire and have never achieved that much mileage on a tire in my lifetime. The Scorpion Trail II gave me so much confidence with maximum lean angles. The Angell GT II only gave me 425 mi of life because they will be replaced on Saturday with Scorpion Trail II.

For everyone bitching: this brand tires are DOPE. I started with rossos 2d. They stick like gum on 90 degree weather. But they barely last 3 months. But these lasted me 3 years (3 seasons) i do highway riding. They take a little longer to warm up like 10-15 mins but its worth it.

So this is 50% GT1 review and 50% promotional flyer information.

Looking forward to an actual review though.

I've read many reviews where the rider claims that on roads with rain grooves these tires are a nightmare, causing the bike to wobble. This is caused no doubt by the double center grooves on the front tire. The original GTs do not have these center grooves. It's been my experience that any tire with a center groove CV wobbles on highwatscwithcrain grooves. Pirelli goofed changing these.

Riding VFR800 (500 lb bike) last tire was Angel GT now have angle GT2's . Great tire! We ride hard, fast and a lot (600+mi this week)
My review. Extremely good twisty canyon tire. Dry grip is exceptional. Wet grip, also very good though I only have minimal wet weather experience. We got caught in a sheeting rain, wind and hail storm.Dubbed death ride 2019 (these tires saved my life). Wrath of God stuff!
Wear is exceptional. Just tipped over 5, 600 mi ( toast) on a 500 lb bike.I am so happy with their performanceI am getting a new rear Angel GT2 tomorrow. Not quite as much wear as Pilot 4's(had em )but definitely better dry performance. Super fun to ride!
