Received my phone today afternoon you have to hold the phone to believe the build quality everything that I could explore in this short time was smooth and brilliant. My observations -
1) Above average camera but the HDR mode is the highlight. Brilliant photos indoor and evening light.
2) Absolutely no issues with the processor .... and yes it has Corning Gorilla Glass 3
3) India is now getting Kitkat out of the box instead of Jelly Bean as mentioned on the box.
4) Very sturdy build quality and even the charger is very good.
5) Loved playing around with MIUI interface but the MICLOUD is only showing 5GB data storage whereas they are promoting 10 GB on website.

  Pretty soon but overall more than what I had expected .... and yes much much better than Motorola X G E F Q whatever .... dont miss the next sale on 29th

You said the body is just plastic (@ 2:10) which looks like metal. It is not true.
The Xiaomi Mi3 is made of aluminum-magnesium alloy frame, coated with 3 layers of thermal graphite..
