This check dam is located at masinagudi to moyar roadside while travelling 15 minutes from masinagudi. A deep forest surrounded with beautiful bamboo trees and hills. You can feel the real nature's water sounds with birds and scenic mist passing through the hills. Its a small and nice dam located on the hilly areas and offers some good views for clicking photographers or even for spending a moment or two in this quaint location. The best season to visit this dam would be the rainy season due to water flowing in abundance and also the surrounding areas being covered in lush greenery makes it an even better picturesque location. All in all the place is small but very good in terms of the surrounding areas and can be a perfect spot for picnicking.,

It’s one awesome place in Masinakudi to settle down for a sunset. You need to visit the place before 04: 30Pm as the police may block you in the checkpost . And try to come before it’s too dark as the road is small and at time elephants and deers May cross the road. It’s little risky to drive after dark. But it’s one worth a drive for the sunset.
