I just realized why I love this show’s songs so much. They have a few aspects similar to that of Portal’s music and the music also accurately creates a unique atmosphere.

This genre of music is surprisingly original. A mix of Orcherstral, chorus, rock and in a terrifying genre. Really a pleasure to listen to!

"Uzi the Drone Killer" is perfect, best thing I've ever listened. And Murder Drones just... I've never been so captivated by music before.

I love how "V and J seem nice" totally encapsulates their personalities in Ep. 1, V's part of the song is erratic and terrifying, whist J's is Loud and commanding. I love how this show series expresses it's characters so well, even in the slightest details.

Hey ya'll, I hope you enjoy this mini album of the music from the Murder Drones pilot! BTW... if you haven't seen it yet... GO WATCH IT RIGHT (there's a link in the desc). On that note, I'm gonna talk about my experience working on this music as I have with the other OSTs:

I was very excited when I was told I'd be doing the music for a Glitch/Liam Vickers collaboration, I spent a long time thinking about it as I kept up with the show's production. As it came closer for me to start, me and Liam spent some time discussing what we wanted the sound of Murder Drones to be. Our biggest goal was to keep the darker horror tone rather consistent, despite the show being very comedic. I've been more used to just scoring the emotion on screen, so I was looking forward to a scoring style I'm personally more into.

The action music in the pilot was almost mostly "EDM-y" kinda like our teaser/trailer themes, but we ultimately landed on a that Liam and I liked more haha. Also, I sort of adopted Liam's music style a little bit as we kind of shared melody ideas and so forth, and I think it was a fun collaboration we had going on.

All and all, pretty hyped that I was able to give some tonal sound to this amazing project, by an AMAZING team I'm so lucky to have worked with for 3 years now. Really grateful they keep me around haha. If this show is picked up for a season, consider this music just a TASTE of the pure insanity I plan to make going forward. Edit: At 0:29, I like to think that when the chours is singing it represents the ghost of humanity left on the planet. While the instruments with the whole techno feel represents the WD slowly taking over the remains of the planet.

its honestly terrifying just how subtly your music enhances the experiences of the projects you work on. i can almost hear each part of the pilot dialogue in your music. This is amazing.

There are points where you can hear themes from Portal 2 (or parts that are at least really similar to Portal 2)
Wheatley's leitmotif is everywhere, but can be heard most prominently at [10:59], [17:11] and [23:12].
Something very similar to "Reconstructing Science" can be found throughout the soundtrack, but can really be heard at [7:46], [10:24], and especially at [16:03].
This isn't supposed to be like a "AAaaAAaA hE sToLE mUSiC" comment, I just think it's really cool
