Color correct Fuji F-log properly in 2022

So you shoot in F-log and want to get a stunning colourgrade, but things aren't the way you immagined it? Perhaps these steps will help. Davinci 17 has a few tricks up its sleeve to give your footage to a great look and get you in the right colour space to start grading for your cinematic look. ever since CST has been released, and the davinci colormanaged option is implemented into Resolve, it makes grading F-log a breeze. Make sure to follow along these 3 simple steps before you apply your favourite LUTs. And no, the EPIC YOUTUBER LUT is not for sale :) I'm keeping it for myself:)

Nice...actually if you go the Color managed way, you can disable it in individual clips by right clicking the clip in the color page and ticking Bypass color management...what I'm currently struggling now is to correctly export to HDR, grading in a XDR Apple monitor...lot´s of banding in blue skies...

Hey there! great tutorial. I have a question regarding fuji f log: do you just apply the lut without any other conversion? if so, how much do you lower its key output? i find its too hard on the material if i just apply the lut over that. Been trying converting to cineon first, and then applying kodak film look, but i keep getting a saturated color breaking some highlights. I'd appreciate any comments tyvm

(I dont have external recorder for 10bit)
