I have completed b.sc cardiac tech in velammal medical college (Mgr University)..the bitter truth is we can't get any job in tamilnadu...abroad la tan scope athigam..but abroad ponum nah we must need atleast 2 years working experience..and most important thing is cardiac tech students are only trained in Ecg, Echo, TMT and in cath lab..in Ecg, Echo and Tmt departments they only expect female staffs..and in cath lab male staff (due to heavy radiation exposure).The job opportunity is very low because in every hospital there will be one or Two Ecg or echo rooms are available..so the staff recruitment is maximum 2 technicians and mostly they prefer senior technician...I had struggled to get job after finishing my ug..then planned to do PG in physiology so that I could get job in educational line like tutor or professor in allied health science colleges or in medical colleges..so please enquire a lot before joining the course and don't believe the job descriptions or job opportunities available on Google...try to enquire the passed out students..
