DIY Silicon Fuzz Factory

DIY Silicon Fuzz Factory build using 2N5087 transistors. I also increased the value of the 100nf cap to 2uf.
Built into the enclosure of what used to be a Behringer VD1. "Point to point" no pcb, vero etc.
Controls:
Top row, left to right: Stab, Drive, Comp
Bottom Row, light to right: Gate, Volume

Just used the schematics available online. My mods were substituting a 2uf capacitor for the 100nf capacitor and using silicon 2N5087 transistors in place of the germanium ones. Just watch the pinout of the transistors and it will work out.

Electrolytic or non-polarized will work.

It will certainly still self-oscillate if that's what you mean.

Generally, larger capacitor = more bass

top left is stab and middle is gate? they appear to be wired backwards? keen on making a fuzz factory with silicons, just want to clarify how you've wired this one. :)
