Stonehenge, the greatest of the henges. Before that was wood and straw henges but they fell down because of a wolf

Just because they built an observatory doesn't mean they weren't druids!

Chuck Nice is the luckiest guy...a comedian and an astrophysicist...awesome combo for a show.

I love it! I, too, was very impressed with Manhattan's skyscrapers... the rows and rows of large buildings. My first visit to NYC was in the early 90s and we took a ferry from New Jersey and walked into the city early in the morning... it was magnificent! That day, we went up yo the top of the Twin Towers and climbed the stairs up to the top of the Statue of Liberty on the 4th of July... talk about a long line! The Art Deco buildings are my favorite things there... the lobbies and elevator doors are pieces of art! ❤🌌🌠💫🌛

The name "Manhattanhenge" was coined by astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson in a 1997.

NGL, I prefer Manhattenhenge over Manhatten Solstice. The first rolls off the tongue smoothly while the second is too clunky to say, just saying!

😂 He says no one knew that until an astronomer figured it out. He goes on to state that he's going to smack somebody for not knowing that. He already knows and enjoys. It's okay, Neil. When they figure it out, don't smack them and ask them what their occupation is.

Sometimes I find ancient people are far more intelligent, lovable and compassionate

Look at Neil trying to get back his "loved by the public* hat.

If you misuse astronomical terms he will find you, and he will slap you.
