Dollar stores in Canada: mostly all $4. In Japan: Mostly ALL $1

THIS is what I miss about Japan. Daiso here (California) with import tax is mostly $1.75 with price guides or tags for items that cost more.

I've been to daiso every time I visited Japan's cities years ago. I usually spent whole day in the store, look around & bought everything I didn't need, lol. Everything cute and interesting. It was fun. I wish have that kinda store here too

We have Daiso in some areas of Australia and it always makes me so happy, there’s so many cute things and everything’s so bright and colourful and staff are really friendly. We have no where near as much stuff as this one though so if I ever go to Japan I’d be heading straight there 😍
