What's the benefit using mps430 architecture for an UG course nowadays? (Isn't is obsolete/outdated? why not ARM cortex m4/stm32 as a starting point?). I do have such a board but not sure if the knowledge will be relevant for modern embedded systems

Hello, Can I follow this series with an MSP40F5529 I understand there must be some difference in ports, registers but how do I go about changing it since I'm a beginner?
