Alice in Wonderland has globally been a popular and a classic Disney character and children's book for more than a century. So alot of us arent rly tht surprised. To me what also made the movie the highest grossing one from all his movies is prbbly the fact that it's the first ever Alice in Wonderland in the 21st century to be made in live-action. Mayb this and Tim's dark twist to it is what made ppl the most highly-intrigued about this movie. It is nothing like any Alice in Wonderland there had ever been.
