Let's just clap and entirely miss the fact we had a sweet old man fundraising for a national health service which should be funded correctly with our taxes. Instead, it has been cut up and drained due to 10 years of austerity. If anything, it highlights a government failure.

I have a sneaky suspicion that Capt. Sir Tom Moore would not have overly appreciated this. His was a generation of doers... and then keeping quiet about it. This is the kind of limp wristed tactic brought to us by the likes of Johnson, his version of Blair's "queen of all our hearts" BS. We now live in a so called society where if you actually say you didn't clap for Tom or say you didn't love Di you become a pariah. My sympathies lie with the Revd. Jarel Robinson-Brown who is now going to suffer a shitstorm of abuse for his opinion.
