Giganto Throwing Sonic prior to the Super form fight is outright identical to Vajra Wyzen throwing Asura from this game, down to the same cinematic camera angles.

Is it any wonder Undefeatable goes well with this fight?

The fact that Wyzen was the FIRST boss in this game brings me great joy. This is how you make a game an anime. This needs to be done more.

And this is why it works. People keep trying to put it to final bosses, but it doesn't fit; it's written, composed and staged for a big opening event throwdown to a game. It fits the Wyzen fight because it was functionally the exact same thing here, "here's the first boss, hold onto your ass because you're about to go for a ride".

A thing that makes it even better is the fact that there's a guardian in Frontiers called "Asura".
