Drive-in Adoration at St Hubert Catholic Church in Chanhassen, MN (March 22, 2020)

AMAZING sight at our church this weekend. With public Masses cancelled (due to the Corona Virus), we had ‘Drive-in Adoration’ in our church parking lot. I figured there would maybe be 25-50 cars there... It was packed full with more then 150 cars.

Everyone parked facing east where a huge retaining wall stands in the side of a hill. Adoration started with Father Aric professing with the Blessed Sacrament up to a make shift alter part way up the retaining wall and we all looked on from our cars. It was a bit surreal and made me ponder what it must have been like to go listen to Jesus speaking on a hillside when he walked this Earth.

Father Rolf then gave a wonderful and encouraging reflection which we heard over a loud speaker with our windows cracked. After a little more time in silent prayer, our priest took the Blessed Sacramemt and processed in front of each car and blessed them. It wasn’t Mass but it was beautiful.
