Rent is no laughing matter in the UK. In fact, the UK’s rents are some of the highest in the world. If you plan on moving to the UK, this is how much you should expect to pay for rent in the UK. 🤣

Typically you shouldn’t pay more than 30% of your salary on rent. If you live in London of course this could go up to 40%. So if you earn £50,000, you should expect to pay around £15,000 a year or £1250 a month, 312 a weekYou’ll also need a deposit of 4-5 weeks of rent, i.e. 312.5*5= £1562.5
So = 2812.5 for the first month.
