Wonderful playing, faithful rendition to the score, yet expressive in subtle ways. Also, huge props to the audio engineer who rigged up the recording for this. It's not easy to record an instrument as powerful as a Bosendorfer, and you can hear the characteristics of the instrument and the hall pretty well here, too.

Of the very many performances I have heard of this piece, this is one of the renditions that's closest to what the score (that I have) says. Very faithful rendition, not gaudy or flashy at all, no rushed tempos, and super fine details and touch. This might be my favorite rendition of this piece. Thank you for performing.

Really fine performance of a piece that is much harder to play than it sounds. Bravo!

Great Eva! And such a rich sound that a Bosendorfer piano has due to those extra few super low strings (keys). Even if you don't even use them. Not that many compositions have them even written into them.

What a nuanced interpretation, there is just so much more music in it.

Not only playing difficult composed piece, also paying very much details of every bit. She is a very serious player to practice for her performances, I guess.

A very hard piece to play. What was Liszt thinking when he composed this MAsterpiece? Perhaps he thought ' I will compose a piece that has it all : High technical difficulty, deep emotional beginning and an insane Ferocious ending that will punish the pianists!'

i liked that improvisation at 6:19, Cziffra always did it, and I always liked that transition with it

I listen to this a lot. Even more than Russeou's version
