Had mine for 4 weeks and biggest bonus for me was that it takes up a lot less boot room than the Deus case. Ready helpful if you are car sharing and yes I also can get my 13' and 9' coils in together (albeit a bit tight.) Great bit of kit for the price.

Got the 240 for Christmas and it’s brilliant. Couldn’t justify a 280 and just need it for walking from the car to the field with everything I need for the day. Great quality 👍🏼

Gary I just got the 240. What an excellent value! The material is very light weight but the reinforced material is not going to tear. Having designed a backpack myself in the 90’s which was used for special forces I am very impressed with the design of this backpack.

Just had one of these off a friend who won it at a rally and already had the 280… ok yes it’s a fraction of the cost of the 280 but I can’t fault it. As you say you get a different mindset when you carry everything you need. I was always going back to the van for food and drink. Now I carry it all with me. Eat on the go and spend longer detecting. Handy Molle system as well to attach various things to. Twin it with the Deus finds pouch round the waste and of the backpack and now I have no more issues of my old pouch weighing my trousers down!

These are brilliant backpacks. I use my 240 with my Makro Racer 2. It fits nicely. Shame I ain’t got a Deus to go in it 😁
