Greetings adventurer, join me, as we unravel the history of a world that never existed. You've heard of living history, this is Living Anachronism.

I now have a channel trailer, so if anyone ever asks you what you are watching, you can just show them this trailer. Or tell them, that my goal, is to understand realism and believability in a fantasy medieval world. We are adventurers, and I'm going to figure out exactly what that looks like and what that means.

I think we nerds have changed. We have left behind the idea that mind and body are antagonistic and reconciled them. We abandoned the old fallacy that told us that we should live sedentary lives just because we might like reading or gaming. We became more active, more involved in the use of our bodies and the joy of it, and thus became more balanced individuals. This channel is a testament to that. Keep the good work, brother!

I knew there was something I liked about you. I walk out into the woods as far as I can go when free writing. It helps when you can't hear car horns. You have no idea how much fun I have watching channels like yours, the Welsh Viking, and others who make a serious effort to research actual history in order to help cosplayers, LARPers and re-enactors to decide what they want to do to either be historically accurate or make their fantasy as practicable as possible. It's too easy to gloss over details but you never compromise.

What was, what never was, what might have been, and what might yet be (if enough S hits the wrong Fs in the near future) are endlessly fascinating places to put ourselves and work toward figuring out how to not just survive but thrive. Your passion in this is inspiring.
