Home work question:
N¹⁴ - no. Of protons is 7, mass of protons becomes 7amu
no. Of nuetrons is 14-7=7, mass of nuetrons becomes also 7amu
Mass of electrons being neglected then atomic mass =14 amu
In hypothetical case mass of protons get halved 7/2=3.5 amu
And mass of of nuetrons remains constant i.e. 7amu then total mass =3.5+7=10.5 amu
Change in mass 14-10.5=3.5

Percentage change in mass of nitrogen : change in mass /original mass ×100
= 3.5/14×100
= { 25% }
