Bull 💩 I way prefer the Kawasaki. And generally I am a Yamaha fan. I ride an R1, my runabout is a GP 1800 SVHO.
It is simple, SXR is the clear winner. The Yamaha is not really good at anything, it is not really a good play / trick ski, it does not carve overly well and it has a cheesy feeling quality about it. The Yamaha needs mods to even carve a decent turn. It jumps wakes better then the Kawi but if you are at a level you really want to go out and jump wakes you probably want a 2 stroke super jet! You saying the Kawi is sluggish is a complete load of poop, The Kawi is a beast of a carving machine that is really good at what it does.
Buy a SXR for your missions and get a separate older play ski.
