Former U.S. president Donald Trump will address the National Guard Association of the United States' 146th General Conference in Detroit.

Robert F Kennedy Jr has suspended his unlikely independent presidential campaign, throwing his weight behind Donald Trump.

Trump has gone back to the policy focus that launched him into the presidency in 2016 by placing immigration at the heart of his 2024 US presidential election campaign.

He is also vowing to recreate the low-inflation economy of his first term to woo voters angry at the steep rises in prices and interest rates during President Biden’s four years in the White House.
