Watch live reaction as Donald Trump wins the US election in a stunning political comeback.

He declared a "magnificent victory for the American people" in a speech to joyous supporters in Florida. The Republicans have also won the Senate - cementing a disastrous night for Kamala Harris and the Democrats.

Donald Trump is projected to clinch Michigan, according to our US partner network NBC News, chalking up another win in one of the seven swing states.

Two still remain - Nevada and Arizona - though it won't change the overall result.

Trump is now projected to win 291 electoral college votes, easily more than the 270 required to win.
